As you may have guessed Berlin is not only Techno Music: lots of musicians, deejays, performers, from all corners of the world bring any and every genre you could possibly think of. Jazz is one of these.
Berlin has a particular feeling with this kind of music: there are lots of clubs and lovely places to enjoy with their secrets and particularities. Also the city seems to have two kind of moods: an East side mood and a Western one.
The West side is a kind of a sophisticated lady and the East is more like a Bebop bad boy.

The Zig Zag Jazz Club is south west Berlin’s hidden gem. Away from the busy tourist high streets, the Club is a popular destination for Berliners and offers live world class music in a modern vintage ambience.

A stylishly-retro bar and jazz club in Berlin. The Hat hits things out of the park with its combination of fine cocktails and sweet jazz jam sessions with lots of Jazz Musicians from all over the world.
I would say a nice combination of elements worth trying to enjoy.

On this minute there is the contribute from Toms Rudzinskis.
Tom is one of Baltics’ leading Jazz saxophone players and composers with an innovative and unique sound in his performance and compositions.

10:29 A-Trane Jazz Club
One of the premier Jazz Club in Berlin part of the Charlottenburg Jazz Scene in west side of the city.
Every Monday there’s a really nice free Jam session by Andreas Schmidt, a pianist, composer and teacher at the city’s Jazz Institute.
They have bigger names and a wider selection of contemporary jazz, ranging from bebop to Latin, and the clubby atmosphere puts you right into the music.
12:45 B-Flat Jazz Club
This is the second premier Jazz Club in Berlin: a classic one.
Here you can hear a variety of musicians: the concept of the club is that you can come there almost every night of the week and enjoy an excellent Iive Jazz Concert.
14:56 Gretchen Club
Is a mix between a Nightclub and a live music venue absolutely open to any style.
Jazz has an important role in the music program with lots of great well known talented musicians from all over the world who represent the Jazz Scene. Here Musical quality of genre and artist are crucial.
