Today we are going to talk about of five of the best record shops in Berlin. If you’re a dj, a record lover, or you simply like digging for records surrounding by music in a Record Shop this episode is definitely for you.
I have to say that Berlin’s record culture is really much alive.
The feeling I had is that record shops in Berlin has always had a certain appeal for djs and music lovers around the world and it still is.
Musical genres range from soul, funk and jazz to indie dance, house, and obviously techno music but also you can find specific record shops that are dedicated more into some genres with a really wide selection.
One of the thing which captured me more is their diversity: I’m talking about not only in what kind of music they are specialised but especially for the environment you can find inside and their freedom in giving you space to enjoy and liste music. This transform record shops in places for listening session, release party and live exhibition.
Berlin has lots of records shops around the city, and especially in the east side – where you can breathe the history and spirit of this town – are located some of the most interesting to visit.
