RBL Berlin is a non-commercial web radio active in Berlin since 2016.
The aim is to promote a way to “make” the radio through the involvement of its people: listeners, artists, selectors, radio makers.
This ambitious project of build a web radio in Berlin was born in 2016 in a room with three friends recording its first program and in time has evolved into a open community with more than one hundred members a thousands of fans.
2019 it has been an important year for RBL because the first goal of 8.000 euro has been reached: with that RBL could realise the project to give access to professional equipment for artists and selectors who might not be able to afford it.
In my today’s interview I talked about all of this and many other things with two of the RBL’s founders: Giacomo, Marco and Giulia (one the first members of the community)
